JC Sales & Lettings are looking to appoint an experienced and driven Senior Lettings Negotiator to join our team at our flagship Dore office. This is a key role within the business, suited to a confident lettings professional who can manage the full lettings process from instruction to tenancy commencement, while delivering an exceptional standard of service to both landlords and tenants.
Our Dore office operates at the premium end of the Sheffield residential market, and we expect the successful candidate to reflect the quality and professionalism that our clients have come to expect from JC Sales & Lettings.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and growing a portfolio of residential lettings instructions across South Yorkshire.
- Conducting accompanied viewings and providing timely, professional feedback to landlords.
- Negotiating tenancy terms between landlords and prospective tenants.
- Progressing all agreed lets through to tenancy commencement, including referencing, right to rent checks, tenancy documentation, and deposit registration.
- Maintaining regular and proactive communication with landlords throughout the lettings process.
- Generating new business through canvassing, referrals, and relationship management.
- Supporting the wider lettings and property management team throughout the whole lettings management process.
- Maintaining accurate records on the agency CRM and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Renters’ Rights Act.
- Representing JC Sales & Lettings at a senior level, upholding the company’s reputation for professionalism and integrity.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in residential lettings, ideally within the Sheffield market.
- Strong understanding of lettings legislation, including tenancy agreements, deposit protection, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to self-generate business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident negotiator with a professional and client-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Desirable
- ARLA Propertymark qualification (or working towards). This is not a deal breaker as JC Sales & Lettings will fund the qualification for the right individual
- Experience using property management or CRM software.
- Experience in property management as well as lettings negotiation.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
