Experienced Fabricator Welder

£16.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience) + Overtime Available

Location: Orgreave Close, S13 9NP

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our growing team. This is a permanent workshop-based role working on a variety of mild steel fabrication projects. We take pride in producing high-quality work and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and reliability.

What You'll Be Doing

MIG welding mild steel fabrication components
Fabricating and assembling steelwork from engineering drawings
Cutting, shaping, drilling, grinding and finishing steel components
Using workshop equipment including drills, guillotines, press brakes and plasma cutters
Carrying out quality checks on completed work
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
Following company health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
Strong MIG welding skills
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Good fabrication and assembly experience
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious

Desirable:

TIG welding experience
Experience operating workshop machinery such as press brakes, guillotines and plasma cutters
Forklift licence (if relevant)
