Full job description

Do you have great peer support skills? Have you got an interest in working as part of a team supporting LGBTQ+ people experiencing poor mental health?

We require a part time Peer Support Workers to deliver peer support for LGBTQIA+ people experiencing poor mental health. And to work as part of the Mental Health Team to provide community-driven Mental Health support in Rotherham.

Prime Objectives (for full list, as well as main tasks and duties please refer to the Job description)

To deliver peer support groups for LGBTQIA+ Communities.
To offer short-term one to one peer support to LGBTQIA+ people experiencing or at risk of poor mental health.

Salary: NJC scale 5 (points 11-17) starting at £28598 pro rata per annum for 15 hours per week. This is a fixed term employment contract until 31st March 2028. Salary is reviewed annually. There is a 5% workplace pension (on completion of probationary period). This post is subject to a Standard DBS check.
