About Us
Predictive Clicks Ltd is a profitable, high-growth performance affiliate business behind product comparison platforms including Consumer Tested Ratings and Sensibly.
Our platforms help consumers discover and compare products across a wide range of categories. We are now entering the next stage of our growth: moving beyond product review aggregation and building our brands around genuine, hands-on product testing.
Products are already arriving at our Sheffield office for filming, testing and content creation. We have the product pipeline, the creative resources and the performance marketing engine in place. We are now looking for a senior content and social media lead to own the next phase of brand growth.
This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity to build an owned audience from the ground up and help shape the long-term identity of two growing consumer platforms.
The Role
We are looking for a Social & Content Media Manager to lead our content, social media and audience-building strategy across Consumer Tested Ratings and Sensibly.
You will be responsible for turning our product testing process into engaging content that builds trust, grows an audience and supports our long-term email and community strategy.
You will work closely with an in-house video editor, internal design team and future Email Marketing Manager to create content across site, social and video channels. You will also plan and manage paid social activity, using a dedicated budget to accelerate audience growth and amplify high-performing content.
The goal is to build something the business owns: an audience that follows our brands, trusts our testing and returns without relying solely on paid acquisition.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Production
- Own the content strategy for Consumer Tested Ratings and Sensibly.
- Position both platforms as credible product testing platforms rather than review aggregators.
- Plan and manage testing-led editorial content, product reviews, listicles and comparison formats.
- Develop a consistent content calendar across website and social channels.
- Retrofit existing high-traffic pages so they better reflect our hands-on product testing approach.
- Work with the video editor to create short-form and long-form video content that demonstrates real product testing in an accessible and engaging way.
- Write, brief and quality-control content to ensure it is clear, credible and commercially effective.
Social Media & Audience Building
- Build and grow owned audiences across relevant social platforms.
- Define which platforms should be prioritised and explain why.
- Create platform-native content that builds brand recognition, trust and engagement.
- Develop social content ideas that are not simply repurposed website content.
- Plan and manage paid social campaigns with a dedicated budget.
- Use paid social to build owned audiences and amplify content reach, rather than simply driving short-term conversions.
- Establish reporting frameworks for audience growth, engagement, reach and attribution.
- Track performance and use data to improve future content.
Brand Positioning
- Develop the brand voice and editorial standards for both platforms.
- Work with the internal design team to ensure brand identity is consistent across all touchpoints.
- Ensure the product testing credential is clearly communicated and visually reinforced.
- Help build trust with readers by making the testing process clear, practical and credible.
- Maintain brand tone across public comments, social conversations and community interactions.
Product Testing & Content Coordination
- Own the product testing workflow once products arrive at the Sheffield office.
- Coordinate product intake, filming schedules and testing priorities.
- Work with the accounts team to maintain visibility of which products are arriving, when they are needed and which categories they support.
- Brief the video editor on the key claims, features and practical tests required for each product.
- Ensure the final content answers the questions real customers care about, such as:
- Does the product do what it claims?
- Is it easy to set up?
- Is it comfortable or practical to use?
- Is the display, design or functionality clear?
- Would we genuinely recommend it?
- Coordinate the post-filming product lifecycle, including whether products are retained, distributed internally or used as audience prizes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the video editor and design team to create high-quality visual content.
- Partner with the future Email Marketing Manager to ensure social content feeds into our owned audience and retention strategy.
- Provide content assets to the search and performance teams where relevant.
- Report clearly to the Head of Amazon with weekly and monthly updates on progress, performance and opportunities.
- Build structure and process around a growing content operation.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with a strong mix of strategy, creativity and execution.
You should be able to plan the bigger picture, define what the brand should stand for, and also get hands-on with content calendars, social posts, briefs, product testing workflows and reporting.
You will suit this role if you are commercially minded, highly organised and confident building a content function from an early stage.
Essential Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a content, social media, brand or audience-growth role.
- Experience within ecommerce, retail, affiliate marketing, digital publishing, product reviews or consumer content would be highly relevant.
- A demonstrable track record of growing social audiences through your own strategy, ideas and execution.
- Strong editorial instinct and the ability to plan, write, brief and quality-control content.
- Experience working with video content, including scripting, briefing, directing or collaborating on short-form and long-form formats.
- Experience developing brand voice across multiple platforms and formats.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics, engagement metrics and audience growth.
- Confidence reporting on performance and explaining what is working, what is not and what should change.
- Ability to build structure and process where none currently exists.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in affiliate marketing, consumer publishing or product comparison platforms.
- Experience with product testing, product reviews or hands-on consumer content.
- Experience managing paid social campaigns on Meta, TikTok or similar platforms.
- Experience using paid social to grow an owned audience rather than purely driving direct-response sales.
- Experience managing online communities, responding to comments and maintaining brand tone in public conversations.
- Understanding of how consistent, high-quality content builds long-term trust.
- Interest in consumer products, product testing, ecommerce trends and social-first content.
What Success Looks Like
Within 12 months, success in this role would mean:
- Consumer Tested Ratings and Sensibly are clearly and credibly positioned as product testing platforms.
- A consistent brand voice is visible across website content, social media and video.
- Product testing methodology is clearly communicated and trusted by readers.
- A meaningful and growing owned audience exists across at least two social platforms.
- A consistent content calendar is operating across site and social channels.
- Product testing content is being produced efficiently from intake through to publication.
- Top revenue pages have been improved to reflect genuine product testing without disrupting performance.
- Paid social is being used effectively to grow reach, engagement and owned audience value.
