We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the IT Audit Team in the role of IT Audit Manager, IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology, risk and governance, delivering high-impact audits across critical IT infrastructure, cloud environments and cybersecurity controls that underpin HSBC’s global operations.
You will engage with senior stakeholders across the business, providing independent insight and constructive challenge while contributing to the delivery of the annual IT Audit Plan. This role offers you excellent exposure to how technology risk is managed across the organisation and provides a strong platform to further develop your career across Audit, Risk and Technology.

In this role you will:

Deliver high-quality IT audits across infrastructure and cybersecurity environments, identifying key risks and evaluating the effectiveness of controls

Provide independent insight and challenge to stakeholders on technology, risk and business functions to support effective audit delivery

Build strong relationships with stakeholder across technology, risk and business functions to support effective audit delivery

Contribute to the delivery of the annual IT Audit Plan, supporting audits across global systems, application and infrastructure

Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls, sharing insights that help strengthen the organisation’s technology risk management
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a range of audiences

Understanding of technology risk and control environments, including infrastructure, cybersecurity or cloud technologies
-
Knowledge of risk management frameworks and the three lines of defence model
-
Experience working in a audit, risk, control or governance role
-
A proactive and analytical approach, with the ability to identify improvements and drive positive change.
