Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high standard of service. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers.

Duties

Safely operate a bus on designated routes, adhering to traffic regulations and schedules. No Cash to handle or be responsible for.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the bus, performing basic maintenance as needed.
Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service throughout their journey.
Communicate effectively with passengers regarding route information, delays, or any changes in service.
Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management for resolution.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to identify and address basic maintenance needs of the bus.
Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver's licence appropriate for operating a bus.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication with passengers and team members.
