Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner (Casual) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various residential properties, Airbnb and commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking casual employment, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling protocols are followed
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls as required
Report any maintenance issues or health and safety hazards to management promptly
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not mandatory
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals is a plus
