Dance Teacher Job Description – FSD Dance
FSD Dance is looking for 1 passionate and dedicated dance teacher to join our growing team. We are a close-knit, supportive school with over 250 pupils each week, delivering classes across Staffordshire & Derbyshire. Having been established for 6 years, we pride ourselves on creating a positive, inclusive environment for both staff and students.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging and high-quality classes to a range of ages (5–12 years). Classes run after school hours during the week on a Thursday Evening. You will also play a key role in preparing choreography for our annual shows.

- Experience teaching dance to a variety of age groups
- Ability to teach styles such as commercial, street, and lyrical/contemporary
- Strong choreography skills for performances and shows
- A fun, creative, and energetic teaching style
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Commitment to long-term growth within the school
Essential Requirements
- Relevant dance teaching experience and qualifications
- Enhanced DBS check
- First Aid certification
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
