Title: Early Career Sport Psychologist (qualified or able to be qualified within 12 months)
Location: Hybrid – home-based with a requirement to commute to Sheffield and / or the North-West and Midlands

THE ROLE
This role provides the opportunity to deliver into multiple spaces, and so we are inviting applications from early career Sport Psychologists (qualified or on the verge of qualifying) who are interested in delivering high quality psychological services across a range of performance settings.
You will bring an understanding as to how performance environments influence both wellbeing and performance, and will have experience in formulating both individuals and environments in relation to their psychological needs. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates that have worked across football settings (e.g. within academy settings) and/ or have experience of supporting female athletes and teams. We are also interested in those with experience working with multidisciplinary teams, as well as designing and delivering support programmes for coaches, support staff, and parents within developmental environments.
In this role, you will:
· Conduct high quality assessments and interventions.
· Build trusted relationships with athletes, coaches, and staff.
· Contribute positively to multidisciplinary teams.
· Work alongside and with coaches to optimise performance environments.
· Design and deliver psycho-education programmes.
· Contribute to psychologically informed culture development.
· Collaborate and co-deliver with experienced HCPC registered practitioners.
· Continue to develop confidence and autonomy as an applied practitioner.
· Engage in supervision and ongoing professional development.

Interested individuals will require a post-graduate qualification to Masters level (or equivalent) in an applied psychology discipline and will need to be registered or working towards registration with the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate how HCPC registration will be achieved within 12 months in order to be eligible for the role.
