Full job description

Cleaner (Part-Time)

- Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour

- Hours: 6 hours a week (+ an extra 2 hours once a month)

- Days: Wednesday - Sunday, 1 hour a day, except Sundays which are 2 hours, and once a month on a Sunday 4 hours are required.

About the role...

We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and hardworking Cleaner to join our team, providing cleaning services across two sites located within a 5-minute walk of each other.

This is a part-time role offering 6 hours per week, with an additional 2 hours once per month.

**WORKING HOURS SITE ONE**

Wednesday - Saturday

1 hour per day
Cleaning must be completed anytime between 7:00am and 12:00pm

Sunday

1 hour
Cleaning must be completed anytime between 7:00am and 10:00am

**WORKING HOURS SITE TWO**

Sunday

1 hour
Flexible working time as the site is closed to the public
Once per month, an additional 2 hours are required on a Sunday, making the Sunday shift a total of 3 hours on that occasion.

Key Responsibilities

General cleaning of premises to a high standard
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Cleaning washroom facilities
Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
Ensuring cleaning schedules and checklists are completed accurately
Supporting a small team by setting a positive example and helping maintain quality standards across the site
Liaising with the Supervisor or Manager regarding any supply requirements or maintenance concerns
Assisting with end-of-shift checks to ensure all tasks have been completed correctly
Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment at all times

Previous cleaning experience (essential)
Confident, organised, and trustworthy
A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication skills and reliability
Punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
