Family-owned since 1992, Brothers Drinks combines 14 generations of cider-making heritage with cutting-edge production. Based at our 40-acre site in Shepton Mallet, we operate one of the UK’s largest drinks production facilities, producing over 550 million units annually across six high-tech filling lines, including cans, bottles, PET, kegs, and bulk liquid.
We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and integrity, supplying major retailers and global brands. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Process team and are looking for a dedicated individual to join us.
The Role
You will be responsible for the dissolving of granular sugars (fructose and sucrose) and blending of ingredients such as ginger beer bases, citric acid, and malic acid, supporting the production of high-quality beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- The weighing of road tankers
- The loading and offloading of road tankers.
- Weighing of ingredients
- The filtering of product
- Dilution/carbonation of products
- CIP of tanks and associated equipment within the process area.
- Maintaining GMP standards and clean as you go policy.
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- The transfer of liquid beverages to the filling lines paying particular attention to CCP’S within the process and adhering to company quality protocols.
- Understanding, adherence, and monitoring of CCP’S within the department.
- Maintaining the ingredients area ensuring correct stock rotation
- Chemical handling / COSHH awareness, correct use of PPE.
- Ensure GMP standards are met, performing cleaning duties as required on any Brothers Drinks site, as directed by your line manager
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or process environment (food and beverage preferred)
- Forklift licence is advantageous, though full training will be provided
- Good IT and computer skills
- Comfortable working at height
- A proactive and reliable team player with strong attention to detail
Shift Pattern
- Rotating shifts on a 4on/4off pattern:
- Early: 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Late: 6:00pm – 6:00am
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,354.00-£34,850.00 per year
