Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the assembly, maintenance, and operation of production equipment, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in mechanical processes and warehouse operations to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor various production machinery, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to specifications.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any faults or irregularities promptly.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, loading, and unloading materials as required.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks within the workspace.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of basic machinery operation is preferred but all training will be provided.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is desirable but all training will be provided.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining quality standards.
