This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join a brand-new operation. You will play a key role in establishing processes, building and developing high-performing teams, and supporting the implementation of advanced warehouse automation technology.
Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager, you'll support warehouse teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-performing operations while maintaining excellent service standards.
What You'll Be Doing

Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Build a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture.
-
Support shift performance against key operational KPIs.
-
Plan labour and allocate resources effectively.
-
Support the implementation and operation of automation technologies.

Work closely with Engineering and Systems teams to resolve operational issues.

Promote a strong safety-first culture.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
-
Experience in a warehouse leadership role.
-
Strong people management and coaching skills.
-
Experience managing operational KPIs and performance targets.
-
Good knowledge of warehouse health and safety.
-
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
-
A hands-on, collaborative leadership style.
We'd Also Love to Hear From
Ambitious Warehouse Team Leaders and Supervisors looking to take the next step into management.
Desirable
-
Experience in an automated warehouse environment.
-
Exposure to technologies such as AutoStore, conveyors, robotics, or automated packing solutions.
-
Experience in e-commerce, retail fulfilment, or high-volume operations.
Shift Pattern
This is a rotating weekly shift pattern covering 5 days out of 7:
Early Shift

Typically 08:00–16:30 (Mon–Fri)
-
Occasional 06:00–14:30 starts
-
Saturday: 09:00–17:30
Late Shift
-
14:30–23:00 (Mon–Fri)
-
Sunday: 09:00–17:30
Additional overtime may be required during peak trading periods (October–December).
