This is your opportunity to become a valuable member of our Stone Production Team, working with some of the most advanced materials in the industry. We are looking for an experienced stone saw operator with a view to also training to operate our CNC machines
Role
As an experienced Stone Sawyer you will be based in our state-of-the-art worktop factory, working with engineered stone, sintered stone, and natural materials to create high-quality products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that every order meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
This role is physically demanding at times, involving the handling of stone products of varying weight and size, as well as periods of standing. If you're looking for a hands-on role where you can develop real technical expertise, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Operating Stone cutting machinery for precision cutting and shaping of stone materials. Training on CNC will be given too after an initial trial period (3 months)
- Working from customer drawings and CAD specifications
- Ensuring accuracy and high-quality finishes through precise measuring skills
- Managing individual workloads to meet production deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and efficient workspace

About you
- Previous experience in stone worktop or fireplace production is required
- Basic computer knowledge would be beneficial
- Strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
- Forklift truck licence (counterbalance) is an advantage but not essential
- Comfortable with manual handling of products
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality

- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday – Thursday 6am-4pm, Friday 6am - 11am
