Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in engaging with clients, promoting products, and supporting the sales process. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service to develop their career within a vibrant organisation. The role involves working closely with both internal teams and external clients to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Duties

Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
Engage in effective negotiation to close sales and maximise revenue opportunities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, particularly in B2B sales contexts
Drive company vehicles when required to visit clients or attend meetings outside the office
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries, resolving issues, and offering product advice
Manage administrative tasks related to sales documentation, order processing, and follow-up communications
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to organisational goals
Utilise IT systems efficiently for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes
Organise schedules to optimise time management and ensure timely follow-ups with clients

Requirements

Proven experience in sales, particularly in B2B environments, is preferred
Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
Valid driving licence and ability to operate a vehicle safely when required
Proficient IT skills including familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office suite
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in handling administrative tasks
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure
