Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part time Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and food preparation, with a keen interest in contributing to a vibrant bakery environment. This role involves assisting in the production of high-quality baked goods while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Working days will include a Wednesday 2pm- 7pm, Thursday 2pm- 7pm and Friday 2pm-7pm.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and baking of various types of bread.
Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency in product quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Support the head baker in daily operations, including inventory management and stock replenishment.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
Assist with customer service when required, providing information about products and taking orders.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food production or preparation is preferred.
A background in baking is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is important.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
