Are you an experienced childcare professional with a passion for helping children and young people thrive? We are seeking a dedicated Residential Team Manager to lead Springwood Hub.
Springwood Hub supports children and young people with disabilities, who are within or on the edge of the care system. The hub is designed to provide emergency and medium residential care in Springwood or as outreach providing intensive short-term interventions within family homes to prevent entry into care and placement breakdown.
As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the home, providing strong leadership to a skilled and committed team. You will champion high-quality, child-centred practice, ensuring that every young person receives the care, support and opportunities they need to succeed.
About the Role
You will:
- Lead and manage Springwood hub including the outreach service, for children and young people with disabilities.
- Recruit, support, motivate and develop staff through effective supervision, appraisal and training.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, care planning and regulatory compliance.
- Drive service improvement through quality assurance, performance management and reflective practice.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Build strong partnerships with families, education providers, health professionals and other agencies.
- Promote a positive culture where children’s voices are heard, valued and acted upon.
Under take on call out of hours duties for the home on a rota basis.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Level 5 Qualification in Management (or equivalent relevant qualification).
- Significant experience working with children in care and residential childcare settings.
- Proven experience managing staff and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of children's legislation, safeguarding responsibilities and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
- The ability to remain calm, make sound judgements and lead confidently in challenging situations.
A full driver’s licence and access to a car.
