Northallerton Joinery is a fast-paced bespoke joinery and kitchen manufacturing company producing high-end residential and commercial work. We manufacture custom kitchens, cabinetry, doors, wall panelling, media walls, and specialist joinery from our North Yorkshire workshop.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Spray Finisher / Paint Sprayer to join our workshop team.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and spray finishing bespoke joinery products to a consistently high standard. The role includes spraying MDF, hardwood, veneered panels, shaker doors, and assembled cabinetry using mainly water-based systems.
You will work closely with the production team to maintain quality, efficiency, and finish consistency across a wide variety of projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparing components for finishing
- Priming, denibbing, and top coating bespoke joinery products
- Spraying water-based and PU paint systems
- Mixing colours and maintaining finish consistency
- Maintaining spray booth cleanliness and equipment
- Checking finished items for quality before dispatch
- Working to production deadlines while maintaining standards
- Managing paint stock and consumables where required
Experience Required
- Previous experience spraying bespoke joinery, kitchens, furniture, or cabinetry
- Experience with water-based paint systems preferred
- Ability to achieve high-quality finishes consistently
- Good understanding of preparation and denibbing processes
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Desirable
- Experience with Renner, Sayerlack, ICA, or similar systems
- Experience spraying shaker doors and hardwood components
- Knowledge of polishing/buffing and remedial finishing
- Forklift licence (not essential)

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
