Full job description

Job Title/Role: FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM LEADER

Reports to: Front of House Supervisor / Peter Goold, HR Manager

Core Job Purpose: To work alongside the Front of House Supervisor to ensure the smooth daily operation of our busy restaurant. You will take ownership of a specific Front of House section, coordinating service and supporting the kitchen and management teams to maintain the high standards of hospitality expected at Henry Street.

Principal Responsibilities

Lead a designated Front of House section, ensuring all tables are served efficiently and to a high standard
Work closely with the Front of House Supervisor and Head Chef to coordinate seamless communication between the floor and the kitchen
Delegate tasks effectively to the team to maintain a smooth flow of service, even during peak periods
Act as a point of contact for the team, providing guidance and motivation to ensure excellent customer service
Maintain the high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service set by Henry Street
Ensure full compliance with current Environmental Health and food safety regulations within the restaurant area
Assist the Supervisor with daily operational tasks, including opening and closing duties where required
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues within your section with a professional and helpful manner
Monitor stock levels and ensure the section is fully prepared and "service-ready" at all times
Any other duties and responsibilities, which might be reasonably requested from time to time

Working hours to be 40 hours per week, working alternate weekends with one day off per week (i.e. 10 day fortnight).

Salary subject to experience per annum based on a 40 hour week with 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
