Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Hotbox Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using a lorry equipped with a hotbox system. This role requires a professional driver with experience in commercial driving and labouring duties. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals working with our client NGN. You will be working in a 3 man team reinstating footway and carriageway tarmac patches . All PPE supplied and client retention package provided .

Responsibilities

Safely operate a HGV Class 2 hotbox equipment, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
Load, secure, and unload goods efficiently, ensuring the integrity of cargo during transit
Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements
Communicate professionally with cusrtomers
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure personal safety and that of others on site

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record and cpcs
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with hotbox systems
Delivery driver experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of road regulations and safety standards within the UK
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently
Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings or late finishes if necessary
Clean Shaven policy

This role is ideal for dedicated drivers seeking a challenging yet rewarding position within the logistics industry.

Pay: £18.00-£19.50 per hour
