Location: Coventry, UK
Department: Recruitment
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2–3 days per week onsite)
Contract Type: Initial 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become a permanent position

We are seeking a proactive and organised Recruitment Coordinator to support our growing recruitment team in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for talent acquisition. The successful candidate will be responsible for candidate sourcing, headhunting activities, onboarding coordination, and providing comprehensive administrative support throughout the recruitment process.

Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Sourcing & Headhunting

Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media platforms, and internal databases.
Conduct targeted headhunting activities to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future recruitment needs.
Screen CVs and shortlist suitable candidates against role requirements.
Initiate contact with potential candidates and assess their suitability and interest.

Recruitment Coordination

Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Assist recruiters with vacancy management and recruitment campaigns.
Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to the recruitment team.

Onboarding Support

Coordinate pre-employment checks, including right-to-work verification and reference requests.
Prepare and issue offer letters and onboarding documentation.
Ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and within required timelines.
Liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
Support new starters throughout their onboarding journey.

Administration

Maintain recruitment records and ensure compliance with GDPR and company policies.
Produce recruitment reports and update recruitment trackers.
Manage recruitment inboxes and respond to candidate enquiries.
Assist with the preparation of recruitment-related documentation and presentations.
Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team as required.

Skills & ExperienceEssential

Previous experience in recruitment coordination, recruitment administration, or talent acquisition support.
Experience sourcing candidates through online platforms and databases.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Experience in direct sourcing and headhunting candidates.
Knowledge of onboarding processes and employment compliance requirements.
Recruitment agency or in-house recruitment experience.
