Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medic to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential medical support within a clinical or emergency setting, ensuring patient safety and care standards are maintained. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your medical expertise can make a significant difference. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Duties

Deliver immediate first aid and emergency medical interventions as required
Assist with patient assessments through physical examinations and vital sign monitoring
Support patients with their care needs, including mobility assistance and comfort measures
Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and procedures
Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently during procedures
Participate in triage processes to prioritise patient treatment based on urgency
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Drive between locations if necessary to provide mobile medical support or attend emergencies

Requirements

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is essential
Proven experience in patient care within hospital or critical care environments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
Experience with physical examinations and triage procedures
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control standards
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfer or equipment handling
Valid driving licence with the ability to travel between sites as needed desirable for this position
Critical care experience is advantageous but not mandatory for all roles

This role demands a professional with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will be committed to providing compassionate patient care while adhering strictly to clinical protocols.

Pay: £12.70-£37.16 per hour
