We are seeking a motivated Shipfitter to join our team in a dynamic, hands-on maritime environment. You’ll play a key role in assembling and installing various components of ships — including bulkheads, decks, and metal structures — helping us deliver high-quality builds and refits.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and layout work.
- Assemble and install structural components on vessels such as decks, bulkheads, frames, and fittings.
- Carry out basic welding, cutting, and grinding tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and meet quality standards at all times.
- Work alongside other trades such as welders, electricians, and engineers to complete projects efficiently.
- Keep your work area clean and organised.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in shipfitting or a similar trade is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings is an advantage.
- A background in construction, metalwork, or engineering is helpful.
- Welding skills (MIG/TIG) are a bonus but not required.
- A valid CSCS card or similar safety training is desirable.
- Reliable, hard-working, and willing to learn these matter most.
