Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Subway Sandwich Artists. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Prepare customised sandwiches, salads, and wraps according to customer specifications using fresh ingredients.
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness of the food preparation area, dining space, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Ensure all food items are stored correctly and stock levels are maintained by replenishing supplies as needed.
Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Follow all food safety procedures and hygiene regulations diligently.
Upsell additional products or promotions to enhance customer experience and maximise sales.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service or food preparation role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.
Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
A positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines diligently. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to gain experience in the hospitality industry within a dynamic team environment.
