Full job description

We are seeking a reliable Receptionist for our well-established and busy Equestrian Centre to work Saturdays.

Equine experience is essential.

Hours 8am-5pm.

The successful candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and willing to be an active member of the management team at one of the largest riding centres in Kent.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all the lessons run to time, proactively working with our instructors and yard team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the day.

You will need to be confident in juggling multiple tasks, be pro-active and able to think on your feet.

Key responsibilities include: Meeting and greeting riding school clients, taking lesson bookings, payments, answering the phone and overseeing changeovers of horses between lessons.

The successful applicant will be expected to lend a hand on the yard during the quiet spells in reception. However, this will be light duties only, mucking out will not be required!

This is an outdoor position as the applicant will be required to be on the stable yard all day.

Previous equine experience is required, as is experience in a similar role.

Ideally applicants should be available to start immediately.
