We're a market leader in allergen-safe, gluten-free, and vegan baked goods, and we're growing rapidly. We’re currently seeking Production Planner to join our dedicated Operations Team and help ensure we always deliver on our promise to customers and consumers. This role would initially be on a 6 month FTC basis with the potential to be made permanent and would suit a graduate or someone who has limited experience but is IT Literate and comfortable using Microsoft.

The Production Planner is crucial to our success in organising production according to demand and quality standards, ensuring that we produce the right goods at the right time for the right customer at the highest quality and the best cost.

The Production Planner must collaborate with all colleagues in Production, Packaging, Despatch, Hygiene, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance as required, in a positive, helpful, and friendly manner, ensuring that the best use is made of Lazy Day Food's time and resources.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

- Food safety including - Compliance with food safety regulations

- Organisation and controlling production effectively - including planning and scheduling the production operations and stock management processes.

You'll be based on-site at our Bakery in Harthill, located between Edinburgh and Glasgow just off the M8.

Contractual hours of work are 40 per week across a working week of Monday to Friday, with flexibility on working hours

An example shift pattern would be 9 hours each day Monday to Thursday and 4 hours Friday (07:00 - 16:40 and Friday 07:00 -11:00)
