Lead Contract Coordinator

This position is based from our Warwick office however we offer flexible hybrid working options.

Job Purpose

As Lead Contract Coordinator, you'll lead a growing team responsible for delivering accurate, customer focused contract coordination that helps bring the next generation of energy projects onto the UK's transmission network. Your leadership will directly support the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

What You'll Do

Lead and support a team of Contract Coordinators, ensuring workloads are effectively managed and customer commitments are delivered on time.
Coach and develop colleagues, providing guidance, mentoring and support to build capability and drive high performance.
Act as the first point of escalation, resolving issues quickly and confidently while maintaining excellent customer and stakeholder relationships.
Drive quality and consistency by ensuring contract records, CRM data and customer information are accurate, up to date and compliant.
Monitor team performance and service delivery, identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and customer outcomes.
Collaborate with Contract Managers, Relationship Managers and Delivery teams to deliver a seamless customer experience across the connection journey.
Support the onboarding and development of new team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Champion operational excellence, ensuring contract updates, customer enquiries and key coordination activities are completed to the highest standards.
Contribute to business improvement initiatives, helping shape processes and ways of working that support the UK's transition to a net zero future.
Provide clear planning, reporting and progress tracking, helping teams deliver critical customer and network development projects successfully.

About You

We're looking for a confident and organised leader who enjoys developing others, solving problems, and delivering great customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Experience leading, coaching and supporting a team, with the ability to prioritise workloads and drive performance.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive problem solver who can confidently resolve issues and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Experience working in a fast-paced, transactional environment, delivering high-quality outputs to challenging timescales.
Proven ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when managing complex information and processes.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage customer information and workflows.
Ability to support and develop colleagues through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Knowledge of the UK electricity transmission industry is desirable, but not essential.

Experience working in customer connections, utilities, energy, contracts, operations or service delivery environments.
A passion for continuous improvement and finding smarter ways of working.
An interest in supporting the UK's transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.

What You'll Get

A competitive salary between £40,000 – £45,000 dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive

26 days holiday, plus eight statutory days, an option to buy extra holiday days, and the option to holiday swap up to 3 bank holiday days
An annual performance incentive
A generous pension scheme, double matched up to 6% of your salary each month. For every £1 you contribute we’ll put in another £2, so if you put in 6%, we’ll add 12% giving a total of 18% to your pension pot
Life insurance at 10 times basic salary
Employer funding towards a portion of your Private Medical Insurance.
You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
