Full job description

Roger Parry & Partners have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Planning Consultant to join our busy planning team at our Head Office in Bicton . As a Planning Consultant at Roger Parry & Partners you will be working alongside the planning consultants in the firm and will be involved with a range of projects including rural and urban.

Be able to prepare and submit planning applications , and appeals .
Collecting, analysing and recording data on the progress of planning permission applications
Checking and researching legislation and laws relevant to planning
Writing up reports for both internal and external publications
Attending and taking minutes of meetings
Negotiating amendments to proposed plans
Preparing, revising and reading maps and technical drawings
Checking all plans and documents to ensure they meet statutory and technical requirements
Responding to queries during planning application process and appeals where required .
Managing planning process and liaising with planning officers, Architects and many outside consultants
Raising invoices to clients and aged debt collecting when needed

Experience essential and will be expected to have excellent communication, telephone and IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Full time, Monday – Friday 40 hours a week
Salary commensurate with experience
