Full job description

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our recently refurbished Medivet Whitchurch practice - offering a fantastic opportunity to take true ownership of your caseload and shape your clinical direction.

This role is particularly well suited to a confident Vet. With the autonomy to manage and grow your own caseload, you’ll have the freedom to develop your skills, supported by a well-equipped practice and a team that encourages clinical progression - including funded CPD and further qualifications.

The Practice

Recently refurbished, 5-minute walk from the train station
3 consult rooms, large prep area, and spacious theatre
Ultrasound and dental facilities
Separate cat and dog waiting areas

The Role

4 days per week
1 in 3 Saturdays
No out-of-hours
Strong focus on clinical autonomy and caseload development
Sole charge experience essential

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance

Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
