Full job description

Arts & Crafts Club Leader – After School Hours

Location: Bridgnorth & Surrounding Areas (occasional travel to Telford and Shrewsbury)
Hours: Weekdays, varied between 2:30pm – 5:00pm (2 clubs initially, potential to expand to 5)
Type: Part-Time / Flexible / Ad hoc opportunities available

Are you enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about inspiring young imaginations? We’re looking for a creative individual to join our team and lead fun, engaging arts and crafts activities for children in our after-school clubs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead dynamic arts and crafts sessions that are both creative and enjoyable.
Set up workstations and prepare materials before each session.
Encourage and support children to express themselves artistically.
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
Manage and monitor supplies efficiently.

Requirements:

A valid full driving licence and access to your own vehicle – essential.
Willingness to travel to locations within Shrewsbury, and occasionally to Telford and Bridgnorth.
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
A Paediatric First Aid qualification – preferred but not essential as training will be provided
A passion for working with children and a flair for creativity.

Initial allocation of 2 after-school clubs, with the opportunity to grow to up to 5.
Additional ad hoc sessions available to increase hours.
