Duties

Deliver high-quality hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly and understanding their needs
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, tools, and equipment
Schedule appointments efficiently and manage client bookings
Offer professional advice on hair care, styles, colours, and grooming options
Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to during service delivery
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
Stay updated with current trends in hair styling and barbering techniques

Skills

Proven experience in customer service within a salon or barbering environment
Skilled in hair styling, barbering, and related grooming services
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
Organised with the ability to manage appointments efficiently
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to personal grooming services
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
