Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our team as a barber. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in customer service and hair styling within a dynamic and friendly environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hygiene. A passion for hairdressing and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Providing personalised hair styling services to clients, including cutting, colouring, and finishing treatments
Offering expert advice on hair care and styling options tailored to individual client needs
Maintaining a clean and organised work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
Ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised after each use
Building strong relationships with clients through friendly and professional communication
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and operational flow
Staying updated with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and barbering

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the hairdressing or barbering industry
Skills in hair styling, barbering, and colour techniques
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanour
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments effectively
Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing or barbering are desirable but not essential
A professional attitude with a keen eye for detail and hygiene standards
