Production Supervisor – Dental Manufacturing

38-hour working week over four days (Monday to Thursday 7.30am-5.30pm)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations and lead our production team within a busy dental manufacturing environment at Associated Dental Products Ltd, a family-run business, based in Purton, Swindon.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a British manufacturer and developer of high-quality consumable dental products, with a global customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule production activities to ensure customer requirements and business objectives are met.
Create and issue production work orders.
Organise and allocate resources to maximise productivity and efficiency.
Lead, motivate, and manage the production team on a day-to-day basis.
Monitor production performance, quality standards, and output targets.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality systems.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions where required.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.

Requirements:

Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage workloads and utilise staff effectively.
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
Experience with production scheduling and work order systems is desirable.
Knowledge of quality standards and continuous improvement practices is advantageous.
Currently located within commutable distance or willing to relocate
Own transport/driving licence is desirable
