An exciting opportunity has presented itself and we are keen to seek the right candidate to support the growth of the EHCP Team in Shropshire, to make sure that children, young people and their families, get the right support at the right time. The overarching focus of this role is to support those children and young people who are Looked After to Shropshire Local Authority, including manging statutory timescales, working collaboratively and closely with the Virtual School, attending meetings and managing the EHCNA process. As an EHCP Case Officer you are the first point of contact for children, young people and their families for the statutory EHCP processes. The post holder will maintain a caseload, set up and maintain positive and professional working relationships and work in partnership with families and partners, whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will be responsible for administering statutory processes linked to the statutory assessment process.
