Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CQC Support Workers to provide high-quality care for children and young adults. This role involves supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on young people's lives within a supportive team setting. The role is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about childcare and specialised support services.

Duties

Assist children and young adults with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and behavioural support
Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with families, carers, and other professionals
Support participation in educational, recreational, and social activities to promote development and well-being
Maintain accurate records of care provided, progress notes, and any incidents in accordance with organisational policies
Drive service users to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safety at all times
Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe environment for all individuals involved
Utilise IT systems for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes

Qualifications

Experience working with children or young adults in a care or childcare setting is desirable
Valid driving licence with the ability to drive service users when necessary
Knowledge of child development, care plans, and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with young people, families, and team members
Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to providing respectful and person-centred support
Ability to work flexibly according to organisational needs; previous experience in similar roles will be advantageous
