Full job description

We are looking for a welcoming, well-organised, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team at Hadley Dental Practice, a modern and community-focused dental clinic in Telford.

As the first point of contact for our patients, your role is essential in delivering a warm, efficient, and positive experience every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Manage the appointment diary and coordinate bookings
Handle phone and email enquiries with care and accuracy
Process payments and maintain patient records
Support the clinical team with administrative tasks
Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR and CQC standards

Education & Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – required
Additional qualifications in customer service, admin, or healthcare – desirable
Experience with dental software – preferred
Training provided for the right candidate with the right attitude

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a dental or medical reception role – preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident, calm, and professional under pressure
Strong attention to detail and a high level of organisation
Friendly, caring, and a real team player
