Full job description

We have an opportunity for a part-time Accounts & Office Administrator to join a friendly office team in a busy and progressive golf club.

Two days per week or 16 hours

Office based

This is a perfect dual role for a candidate who enjoys variation in their work with a real mix of accounts and general administration

Accounting duties including:

Good working knowledge of Sage account systems

Receiving and processing of invoices

Bank reconciliations

Credit card and petty cash reconciliations

Preparation for quarterly VAT returns

Reconciling nominal accounts

Internal journal entries with golf and till software

Prepare monthly management reports for Board of Directors

Liaising with all departments to approve outstanding invoices

Administration duties including:

General secretarial duties. Assist with golf club administration of competitions, matches, golf societies, social events, membership and banking.

General secretarial duties such as answering the phone, ordering supplies, maintaining records on management database systems. Experience of using Outlook

Working closely with Manager and Assistant Manager

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Must be organised and be able to prioritise work

Proactive nature who is flexible and adaptable to change

Driven to complete tasks by deadlines

Able to work independently or cooperatively

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13,000.00-£14,000.00 per year
