About us

Floris London are one of the oldest independent perfume houses in the world and the oldest English retailer of fragrances and toiletries. Founded in 1730, Floris began in London's St James's district and still operates from its historic shop at 89 Jermyn Street today.

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service & Sales Advisor to join our team in Tiverton, Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

As a Customer Service & Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

This role is part-time to cover afternoons, but could possible be scope for more hours.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Provide accurate information regarding Floris products, Bespoke services, and company policies.
Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Process customer orders, requests, and account updates.
Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure customer needs are met.
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and service delivery.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An interest in fragrance, heritage or beauty brands.
A positive, professional, and approachable manner.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience working with SAGE & Shopify are preferred.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Part-time hours. (ideally 12-5pm, but hours can be discussed, afternoons to be covered)

Salary - £25,000 - £28,000 Pro Rata
