Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient assembly and operation of equipment. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, contributing to the smooth running of production processes. Responsibilities

Operate various types of production machinery and equipment with precision and care
Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly fitted and secured
Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on equipment
Conduct quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process
Maintain a clean and organised work area to adhere to safety standards
Support warehouse activities such as loading, unloading, and organising materials as required
Follow safety protocols diligently to minimise risks within the production environment

Requirements

Proven experience or familiarity with mechanical systems and equipment operation
Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Previous experience in assembly work or warehouse operations is desirable
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a busy production setting
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
