Psychological Therapist (Band 7) CAMHS Outpatient Team
NHS Lothian | Permanent | 0.85 WTE (30.6 hours)
NHS Lothian Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are seeking to recruit highly motivated and clinically experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses or Occupational Therapists into the role of Psychological Therapist within our community outpatient teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply and further develop advanced therapeutic skills in a well-established, multidisciplinary CAMHS service delivering specialist mental health care to children and young people aged 518.
Applicants are required to have completed (or near completed) Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). It is also desirable to have experience working with complex health needs with children/young people as well as further evidenced based psychological therapies such as Family-Based Therapy (FBT), Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT), Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) or Interpersonal Therapy (IPT).
Working Pattern: MondayFriday, typically 9:0017:00 though flexible and part-time working options can be considered.
