Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This vital role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our finance department with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will bring experience with accounting software and financial processes, ensuring smooth financial operations across the business.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions efficiently using accounting software such as Xero
Manage data entry for invoices, receipts, and expense reports with precision and attention to detail
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
Support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant documentation and reports
Assist with supplier communications, payment processing, and resolving invoice discrepancies
Maintain organized records of financial documents to ensure compliance and easy retrieval
Collaborate with team members to improve financial workflows and reporting accuracy
Run payments in the bank
Submitting payroll

Experience

Proven experience working with accounting software such as Xero
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and data entry procedures
Familiarity with financial services terminology and practices within a business environment
Experience using systems like Breathe HR and Procure Wizard or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
