Job description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Parts & Procurement Coordinator to join our service team at SER. The ideal candidates role will include maintaining our stores and stock records, processing part orders, managing part orders are dispatched / processed on time and ensuring that our stores process is ran efficiently and cost effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing inventory of multi-site part stores and depots - Carrying out daily/weekly stock checks
- Receiving and placing of orders through our purchase order system
- Ensuring site stores are kept tidy and organised
- Supervision of van delivery drivers while delivering to our depot
- Arrange the dispatch and delivery of parts to customers and our mobile engineers
- Assisting our service department with stock analysis and utilisation
- Contribute to the development of our stores/parts management process
Qualifications, skills:
- Forklift License (training will be arranged)
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and keen to learn new software
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A keen eye for problem solving
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
