Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production engineering Operative to join our team in a busy production environment. Initially on a 3 month temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of 3 months. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to deliver high quality work, with attention to detail and good organisation. Initial starting salary £12.71 per hour. This can be reviewed after trail period.
Duties
- Running of our chemical cleaning process to meet daily targets in accordance with safety and operational controls.
- Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently and in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain high-quality level of work.
- Record production data accurately, utilising basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- After completion of our in-house training program progress into Pressure Testing of our manufacturing. A highly controlled and responsible position.
- A good candidate could progress into our welding and brazing training program and achieve these highly technical skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production / engineering / manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and data recording.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills.
