Looking for something to do during the summer holidays to enhance your CV with a flexible commitment? Interested in young people? Enjoy socialising, sport, or arts and craft? Then read on...

Vision 4 Youth is a charity in Yateley that runs youth clubs for young people. During the summer holidays we're running a special youth club for 11-16 year olds and need some helpers to support the activities we'll be running. The club targets those who qualify for free school meals, so its a worthwhile cause by providing them with enriching activities to keep them entertained. Each day is a mix of sports, crafts, baking, and a hot meal.

The Summer Holiday Youth Club will be open 12-5pm Monday-Thursday, 27th July - 20th August. You can help for an hour, a whole session, one session or multiple days, its entirely up to you.

Skills

Ability to interact with the young people and work well as a team. Sense of humour and willingness to have fun is key! Volunteers need to be 18+ but we are happy to take 16/17 year olds as 'Young Leaders' to help out with setting up etc.

Full training is given with the opportunity to attend courses on youth work related topics and its a great way to enhance your CV. If you like volunteering with us then you'd be welcome to stay on as a regular volunteer in September if you wanted to!
