Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time (20-25 hours per week) Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for organisation and finance to contribute to the smooth running of our business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting administrative tasks, and assisting with various organisational duties. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible working hours while gaining valuable experience in bookkeeping and administrative functions.

Duties

Manage and update financial records using accounting software Xero.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
Reconcile bank statements and maintain organised financial documentation
Assist with invoicing, billing, and expense tracking
Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining files
Chase outstanding invoices and liaise with suppliers and customers when needed
Prepare financial reports and summaries as required
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth administrative operations
Assist in other organisational duties to support overall business functions

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting software such as Xero is essential
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial record management
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
Previous experience in bookkeeping or administrative roles is essential
