We are recruiting for a Production Operative role on the day shift at our facility in Whitstable, Kent.
The Production Operative role covers a number of jobs which need to be carried out in line with the standard operating procedures. You will be required to complete all necessary paperwork and perform the required checks on the material produced during the shift, and record the results you obtain. You will report to the Production Manager who will determine where in the plant you will be required to work. In this role you will be required to keep yourself and others safe, apply your training and always seek clarity.
The hours of work are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm on alternating weeks, Monday to Friday equating to a 40 hour working week.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience or qualifications in the following areas, although training will be provided for the right candidate if necessary:
· Rip and Tip bagging experience
· Manual handling training
· The ability to carry out all required checks in terms of quality and maintenance
· A good standard of numeracy and literacy
· Forklift truck licence / pallet stacker
