Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR and payroll manager to join our team in Rayleigh. This role is vital in ensuring our human resources and payroll processes run smoothly, supporting our mission to deliver excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills and expertise in HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Complete the HR and payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of information.
- Manage our HR systems to streamline HR operations.
- Analyse HR data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments.
- Support management with employee relations and performance management.
- Support the company directors by delivering growth plans, analysing and adapting existing payroll schemes and managing ad-hoc employee incentives.
- Liaise with our external Accountants to ensure all legal requirements are adhered to and deadlines are consistently met.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience managing HR systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and human resources management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant experience in a human-resources setting.
- Ability to analyse data and generate reports for decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Relevant qualifications in human resources or related fields are advantageous.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role.
