The project: Are you looking for a career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference? Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C (SZC) will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, playing a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.

The purpose of the role (aligned to Quality Support Officer Job Description) is to support the quality function in the quality project office (QPO) developing and maintaining a digital reporting suite to ensure quality key performance indicators are readily available to a wide range of stakeholders within the Sizewell C Project.

The role will sit withing the Sizewell C Quality department, which constitutes a broad range of skilled quality management professionals, this role will provide support to the teams as a key data analytics service covering areas such as, audits, supply chain surveillance and non-conformance reporting. As the Project develops, this role will require engaging different parts of the business to scale self-serve PowerBI (and wider MS Office suite) reports to senior leaders to drive accountability and decision-making.

You’ll be responsible for:

Delivering annual plan priorities to time and budget.
Coordinating internal and external audits and certifications.
Conducting audits, investigations and root cause analysis.
Driving management system effectiveness and continual improvement.
Producing quality reporting, insights and communications.
Supporting risk mitigation, business development and training.
Enhancing supply chain quality through guidance and assurance.
Championing net zero outcomes and responsible carbon management.

You’ll need to have:

Educated to HNC/HND or country equivalent as a minimum, ideally in an industry related subject (or equivalent).
Good IT skills in Microsoft office.
Ability to use industry recognised standard software systems.
Similar quality assurance focussed role experience.
