Ground Screw Installer / CSCS Site Operative (Self-Employed / CIS)

Pay:
£150–£250 per day depending on experience, tickets and role within the team.

Location:
Applicants must be able to report to our base near Ipswich, Suffolk (IP6 area) each working day before travelling to site with the team.

Job summary

No More Digging South East is looking for additional self-employed installers and site operatives to support our growing workload across the South East.

This is a hands-on outdoor construction role involving ground screw installation, testing works and general site operations across residential, commercial and solar projects.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, practical-minded and comfortable working on active construction sites and travelling to projects across the South East.

Please note that this role will occasionally require staying away from home on certain projects. Accommodation and food allowance will be provided where overnight stays are required.

Essential requirements:

Full UK driving licence
CSCS card essential (support can be provided to obtain this where required)
Construction site experience
Good practical skills and work ethic
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Preferred experience:

Groundworks
Landscaping
Fencing
Steelwork
Plant operation
General construction/site work

Additional tickets such as excavator, dumper, telehandler or first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.

Self-employed / CIS support

We understand that self-employed construction work can sometimes involve a lot of admin and setup requirements. We work alongside specialist CIS administration providers to help support subcontractors with:

CIS processing and payments
Public liability and personal accident insurance
Site compliance support
CSCS verification
General onboarding and payment administration

This allows operatives to remain self-employed whilst reducing much of the administrative hassle typically associated with subcontract work.
