About Us

Simply Stay operates self-serviced accommodation and hotels, providing clean, comfortable and well-maintained rooms for our guests. We are looking for reliable and hardworking cleaners/housekeepers to join our team at our hotel in Skegness.

About the Role

We are looking for cleaners to help prepare guest rooms and communal areas between guest stays. Guest check-out is at 10:00am and check-in is from 4:00pm, so cleaning work will usually start from 10:00am and must be completed before 4:00pm.

Flexible shifts are available, including part-time, full-time, zero-hours and seasonal work. This role may suit someone looking for regular hours, extra work, or seasonal employment.

Main Duties

Your duties will include:

Cleaning guest bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard
Changing bedding and towels
Making beds and preparing rooms for new guests
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing
Cleaning toilets, showers, sinks and kitchen areas where required
Replenishing supplies such as toilet roll, soap and guest items
Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or missing items
Ensuring rooms are ready before guest check-in at 4:00pm
Following health and safety and cleaning procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work quickly while maintaining high standards
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible with working days, including weekends and busy holiday periods
Honest and trustworthy
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided

Working Hours

Working hours: 9:00am–3:00pm or 10:00am–4:00pm, depending on bookings and rota.

Pay

Pay is at National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, depending on age.
