Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic room Senior to join our team at a vibrant nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. As a Leader, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and children.

Duties

Oversee daily activities within the nursery, ensuring that all procedures are followed.
Lead and motivate a team of childcare professionals, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Manage the care and educational activities for children, ensuring they meet developmental milestones.
Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education provided to children.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment for children to learn and play.
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that stimulate children's growth.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to childcare.
Be a responsible key holder and open and close the nursery

Experience

Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
Proven ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a supportive environment.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the overall nursery experience for children and families.
